Commissioning process

After initial contact, if you would like to proceed with the process of commissioning a bespoke piece, we will begin by exploring what ideas you have in mind, what the intended budget is, and we’ll take a look at the particular requirements.

We will draw up some design proposals and give you a price indication. Once details of the design proposal are confirmed, we will create a set of working drawings and discuss the finer details with the maker and provide you with a final quote.

A 50% deposit is required to place the order and the project is then scheduled in with the maker. We will be able to give you a more exact lead time at this stage.

Design Fee

A design fee of €250 covers the design and drawing time required to create the initial design proposal, needed to give an indicative price. This will come off the final price of the piece if you proceed with the commission.
